2. Access data / server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the site is accessed, Netlify automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the EU Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period; they are not merged with other data sources.
3. Inquiry, contact and cross-reference forms
If you send us an inquiry via the inquiry cart, the contact form or the form for cross-referencing another manufacturer’s part, we process the details you provide (type of inquiry, customer number, company, name, e-mail address, telephone number, content of the inquiry including the items requested, and in the case of the cross-reference form additionally the manufacturer and part number of the component to be replaced, the operating conditions you describe and the quantity required, and any file attachments you voluntarily submit such as parts lists or drawings) solely in order to handle and answer your inquiry and to prepare a quotation (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures; for inquiries without contractual relation, such as purely technical information or a call-back request, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in answering your request). The technical receipt and storage of the form data (including file attachments) takes place via our hosting provider Netlify as a processor; the statements in section 2 on processing and third-country transfer (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses) apply accordingly. Beyond this, your data is not used for advertising purposes and not passed on to third parties. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations (for example where an order is placed) stand in the way.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. It uses only your browser’s local storage for three technically necessary purposes: the items you have selected in the inquiry cart, your language choice (German/English) and your acknowledgement of the privacy notice. This storage is necessary for the service you are using (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and requires no consent. The data does not leave your device until you actively submit an inquiry, and it can be deleted at any time via your browser data. No analytics, advertising or tracking services are embedded; fonts and all content are loaded locally from this website.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Simply contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — the competent authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
